NYFE Summary

This was one of the large seafood restaurants that served visitors to Sheepshead Bay. Frederick William Irving Lundy developed it during a public effort to improve the waterfront. The business became a local institution at a time when fishing boats and shore dinners helped define the bay.

Long stretches of pale stucco, red roof tiles and arched entrances give the building the appearance of a coastal resort. Decorative ironwork and leaded windows add smaller details.
