NYFE Summary

The congregation first worshipped near Wall Street before following the city’s growth north. Its present church began with lightly tinted windows and a wooden steeple. Later gifts added the stained glass and stone spire visible today.

Catharine Lorillard Wolfe funded the large Te Deum window and encouraged other donors to support the glass. Visitors can use a free audio tour to learn about the windows, organ and congregation. The church also lists concerts and organ meditations on its calendar.
