NYFE Summary

The first developer went bankrupt before the hotel was finished. A new owner completed the corner building and later added a through-block wing for more rooms. It served both long-term residents and visitors drawn to nearby stores, showrooms and offices.

Horizontal bands of pale stone cross red brick walls. Curving and angled window bays project above the sidewalks, while carved wreaths, faces and an elaborate cornice frame the lower and upper floors.
