NYFE Summary

Artist Yuko Nii bought the building in 1996 and founded the Williamsburg Art & Historical Center. Exhibitions and performances brought local and international artists into the former bank.

Outside, a carved porch marks the entrance. Arched ground-floor windows have carved keystones. Stone bands separate the upper floors, beneath patterned roof shingles and a projecting cornice.
