NYFE Summary

The bank was founded to give working people a place to keep their savings, including women and domestic servants. Its later owners included Republic National Bank and HSBC. Banking use ended in 2010, when HSBC moved its branch.

New owners then restored the building and converted it into the Weylin event venue. The large dome and arched stone entrance remain visible from outside.
