NYFE Summary
Louis and Nettie Horch financed an apartment hotel with a museum devoted to artist Nicholas Roerich. The lower floors also supported arts education through the Master Institute of United Arts.
Large entrances distinguish the former museum floors from the apartments above. The brickwork was arranged to change from dark tones at the base to lighter ones near the top. Angled setbacks lead to a small octagonal tower.
