NYFE Summary
The organization was established in 1989 and opened here after a renovation in 1993. The former Theaterama became the Claire Shulman Theatre. A later expansion added a glass-enclosed lobby and more performance space beside the New York State Pavilion’s observation towers.
Its program includes theater, dance, music and family performances by local, national and international artists. Plan an interior visit around a performance and check the event’s ticket details. The nearby pavilion towers are separate structures; a theater ticket does not provide access to them.
