NYFE Summary
A congregation of Dutch and French families grew into this parish. Its first church on the site stood beside an existing burial ground. The surviving cemetery includes family plots, veterans’ graves and markers attributed to early New Jersey stone-carving workshops.
Two columns stand inside a recessed brick entrance rather than projecting in front of it. A wooden bell tower rises above the roof. The later Sunday-school wing contains a horseshoe-shaped meeting space and uses matching brick and trim.
