Nuasin breaks ground on a new Bronx campus

An elementary program is due to use temporary premises next school year before relocating to the permanent building.

Construction has begun on a six-story school building for 700 students at 1780 East Tremont Avenue, Bronx Times reported Wednesday.

Nuasin Next Generation Charter School and APEX Development Group are behind the project. The planned opening is in 2028, according to the report.

The institution has received a charter for kindergarten through fifth grade and plans to expand it to K–12.
