Fahrenheit ↔ Celsius converter
Make sense of the forecast. Convert a temperature in either direction, in a tap.
Let’s convert.
Updates as you typeEdit either field. Use a period for decimals.
Rounded to your selected precision. Trailing zeros are omitted.
How the conversion works
To turn Fahrenheit into Celsius, subtract 32, then multiply by 5 and divide by 9. To go back, multiply Celsius by 9, divide by 5, and add 32.
For example, 68 °F is 20 °C. Negative temperatures work too: −40 °F and −40 °C are the same temperature.
